Here's a peek into the Design Laboratory itself, featuring a sturdy workbench, ample shelves, big stereo, and a lot of tools. When I bought this house, I stripped the garage down to bare walls and built everything you see. Unseen are massive shelves to store parts, sub-assemblies, some of my wife's stuff, and of course, the motorcycles.

A recent upgrade to the lab were these super-heavy duty drawers with full-extend glides. Tools formerly stored in boxes and crates are now easily accessable.
